Well, it appears that our overnight presence transferred back apparently. As of an hour ago, BP was actually still competitive. They also must get along better than all of the day guilds and work together as a team.

honestly, I don’t know if it’s an exploit or was put there on purpose to try and encourage people to take a chance in taking bay. everyone I talk to on BP says exploit, so I also use the term. All I know is the defense of it was pointless because one commander decided to leave a guild he really doesn’t care for out in the wind instead of equally splitting forces for defenses. Doesn’t matter to me anymore. I’m not in there. Overnight zergs would probably wipe it out anyway.

there is a small ledge on the north wall IN the water at bay that can be used to put down catapults and such. Like I said, I didn’t report anything to anyone, I told people and they came and destroyed them.

Yes, Maguuma and DR were doing the catapult exploit. I saw them both and soon after, they were destroyed. Didn’t really matter though because when Plok and Daiosho dc’d, ranger mich left bay out to dry and we lost it. his 100g outweighs map importance apparently.

also, to the members of goat, thank you for trying to tolerate me, and I will not be like others that have been escorted out bad mouthing. Lead them to victory Plok.

What amazes me about that video is the fact that everything I have been preaching for the past couple of days is now confirmed BY KREW THEMSELVES!!!!! They sit there and proclaim themselves to be pro and they can’t even take out Plok 1v1…it has to be 6v1 WITH A BALLISTA shooting as well. They couldn’t fight themselves out of a paper bag that has been sitting in the rain for an hour, and they only proved it by filming themselves in the act.

First things first Macabri, I can appreciate your viewpoint, however, when people try to defend a move to a competitor DURING the week you are going against them, people will hate. If you think my comments are bad, be glad you are not on our server. The things people are saying in open chat (which I will NEVER say about anyone in a virtual environment) could get them banned permanently. If you think GOAT is vindictive, then how do you think those that were left behind by Krew feel? They just don’t get on these forums to say it. Also, wouldn’t you be peeved and vindictive if a guild that some people openly vouched for in order to be part of the PACT we have turns tail and runs to the next highest server, which just so happens to be winning? If you were in our shoes, you’d probably feel the same way that we do on BP, and I don’t want to imagine how DH feels since they have lost 2-3 huge guilds, at least 1 to DB as well.

As far as the personal shots, I NEVER fired the first shot. I get bitter towards people that pull a Dice Clay on me and others and think it’s okay. No apology offered, no thinking (s)he is wrong, nothing. Just angst from that player because (s)he gets kicked from the guild. Then, said person sends in-game tells to said guild members and hierarchy, on the edge of harassment, and berates them constantly. Sorry, but that kind of behaviour does NOT fly with me and it never will.

how many DB does it take to successfully down and finish 7-8 GOAT? OVER 40. Zerg happy, zerg happy every day!!!!!!!

Let’s see, this is how many it takes from DB to kill a well balanced GOAT defense. Krew couldn’t do it alone, so they brought half the server with them…..

Okay, as much as I have tried over the past hour to not say anything about the Krew move to DB, I can no longer fight the urge.

Hadann, what happened to all that pro-BP talk you’ve been spewing for the last few weeks? You even posted on the server forums that trolls are everywhere, and running from them doesn’t help. This is what you and your guild are doing. Running and taking the low road of convenience. The only positive is that you are taking the bad apples you have recruited from other guilds with you. You and Krew, as a whole, are no better than WE from DH. You two deserve each other.

To DB, I apologize for the drama you are about to inherit, esp from the drama queen and chief troll Springy. My advice is just put on blinders and walk straight ahead. Krew does their own thing, has really only one good commander, and loves talking the talk while only sometimes walking the walk. Enjoy.

Yes, we have a strong Oceanic presence, also I would like to reiterate that the NA presence is building stronger as well. The coordination that I have seen on this world compared to the others is second to none. More often than not, I see several guilds… all from Borlis … attack EACH OTHER in the forums… makes no sense to me. I used to play on Borlis… so much drama, they were all so busy typing and arguing in game and on the forums, no wonder things aren’t being accomplished… No offense intended, I’m just calling it how I saw it.

well, there are a couple of reasons for this thought process. firstly, the powers that be that have received message after message regarding the harassment of GOAT and done nothing about it, leave us almost no other alternative. This harassment we have tried to deal with through the proper channels, with nothing being done to our satisfaction. Another reason, and here I speak for myself, is that there is much immaturity on BP. Some Commanders on our server have a rock star attitude and if the spotlight isn’t on them, well then to hell with the server. Guilds like the real GOAT, KREW (mostly), DkZ, WaR, and others I cannot think of right now, we bust our bums to get our server to be where we are. These other fly-by-night players don’t organize with us, don’t listen to the commanders, and cost us most chances to make these last few match-ups competitive. Last reason is just respect. When we transferred 2 weeks after release to BP, we thought we had found a home. We dug in our heels, planted a seed and have watched it grow. Now, however, some people, and you KNOW who you are, still do not respect us for all GOAT has done for BP.

There is only so much that we can endure. If BP cannot change their ways, then our future endeavors might just be on a different server. The overall attitude of BP needs improvement, and it must happen very soon.

I keep seeing posts about BP exploiting, however, I am not seeing SS or names being posted. I know that most, if not all, of the PACT doesn’t lower our standards to such play, however, PUGs might. I ask that if you see such a person from BP, report it. If you are right, one less moron to deal with. If you are wrong, well, you will continue to see them around.

why yes, yes we were. however, somewhere over the last 36 hours, our night prescence decided to not play, so our 20K lead turned into a 13K deficit as of an hour ago. I’m really not happy about it, but I can’t do much since I’ve worked the last 2 days and I sleep at night.

New thread for the new week starting at reset 5pm Arizona time. BUT, who will it be? Very close between DB and Ehmry Bay right now. Will DB move up? If now, will BP night crew start putting up the fight that we had in previous tiers? Will DH get new guilds to replace those leaving???? All these questions will be answered soon in the new soap opera, “As WvW turns!!!!”

To my server, what in the hell happened to our night presence? Did you transfer or just figure, “hey, we have a big enough lead, let’s not WvW anymore this week”? DB is oceanic, ergo their days are our nights. We should never have lost this with the lead we had 36 hours ago. Period.

to be fair? When I say in the middle of a siege, I mean that the guild that I am in has placed at least 2-4 guild in siege to bomb a wall or door, not to mention the repair costs to our armor trying to get the supply camps, etc etc etc. on sunday night, we were literally going on hour 4 to get into a bay and BOOM, no more. They are killing WvW with all these little petty updates.

for the 3rd time (at least) in the last 5 night since reset, IN THE MIDDLE OF A SIEGE, a “new build” has been released……this is really getting old. If you all want this to be a valid, beneficial point to the selling of this product, then putting out a patch that only fixes a holiday recipe problem during primetime is absolutely dumb. You cannot possibly expect people to spend gold on siege weapons when all you do is screw up the plans that are already in motion. GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!

BP has NEVER said we expected to breeze thru this tier. We expected a challenge, and have so far received one. Both servers fight much better than Anvil Rock and it’s alliance of wall walkers.

I’ve never seen such obvious double teaming as I have until today.

We have Darkhaven basically bending over for Dragonbrand, gifting them Stonemist while Darkhaven gains nothing. No wonder Darkhaven continues to lose WvW players.

Now I’m not crying about it, just pointing out an incredibly obvious fact. Some servers try to gain the most points, while I guess some prefer to be another server’s kitten.

Maybe next time Borlis Pass shows up in a new Tier they may not want to come in and kitten off the locals.

There is already a separate thread about how BP is expecting to walk thru this Tier and face off with EB or YB.

There are several posts in this very thread about how you expect to have an easy time in this Tier.

Simply put, you brought this on yourself and now your crying about it? Typical.

Actually…BP still expects to walk through this tier. So far…Nobody has given us any significant trouble (through an entire week) in well over a month. So why shouldn’t we be confident. So they can continue to bring on the double teams. We are still leading regardless.

thank you for providing proof that a server’s alliance can plan to exploit game mechanics. most of your server is pretty much worthless for that. Have fun getting spanked by northern shiverpeaks and GoM.

BP looks forward to the challenges you present and hope for a great battle for the next week. I really hope your servers fight fairly and don’t wall jump or other exploits such as servers we have faced in the past. I honestly love how AR’s major argument always comes back to population. I also love how everyone on AR seems to think we won’t be able to hang when we go up again tomorrow for reset. You all make many assumptions and have no honor in trying to defend yourselves in Wv3. When you all learn to play, and play w/in the confines of NOT using the exploits you enjoy learning about on youtube, give BP a call. Otherwise, keep hacking, and arena net will start banning, and AR will drop to where they belong, the bottom.

this is a matter of integrity. this shows EXACTLY how Anvil Rock, AS A SERVER, handles adversity when they know damn good and well they can’t hang with those they are up against. You troll and exploit AT WILL. It amazes me that you cannot just face up and accept that you belong with devona’s rest and that your server has fluked into the ranking it has. Bye bye troll

you know, i don’t come to the forums all that often, but when I do, I am constantly reading about zergs and thieves. while I do agree that rendering gives thieves a distinct advantage, all classes can be made to have strengths. Even engineers, which in some ways is (imo) the hardest class to play, can be pretty strong.

zerging, unfortunately, is part of Wv3. For anyone that really wants to smurf about it, well, talk to ArenaNet and NC Soft. They are the ones that made the game the way that it is. I’ve run into all these things and gotten my smurf kicked quite often. Not gonna get on here and flame about it.

Now, if anyone had anything to flame about, it would be the lack of real competition from the servers BP has been up against in the last 3-4 weeks. We have planted servers in the ground, hoping they would grow, and alas, it just isn’t meant to be. Hopefully, we will have a more competitive time in the next tier up.

I understand that BP has probably gotten transfers while other servers haven’t. If people WANT to come to BP, great. Come be a part of the PACT and we’ll show you a good time. Zerg or no, we have worked damn hard to get to where we are. We have come up with many different strategies to confuse and demoralize. Don’t discount that fact. Plok, Diasho, and do different things every week.

In the end, we are borg, you will be assimilated, and resistance is futile.

First, AR needs to shut up about zerging. They do it all the time, and more than BP or GoM for the times that I am on. Next, AR better enjoy this week, because it appears that BP and GoM have cashed it in. BP isn’t even trying from what I am seeing.
