I completely agree that the shift to making scepter a condition weapon was very stupid and I get annoyed when I think about all the Mesmers who relentlessly pushed for it.

I’m not sure how to go about making scepter the hybrid fin de siècle, perhaps scepter #1 could deal bonus damage to confused targets, increasing per stack?

Jonathan was a consistently lovely and naturally creative mind through and through, pretty much stood alone as someone I deeply respected in the dev pantheon. It’ll be a terrible shame to see him leave and I worry very much for the game’s immediate future with his departure. GW2 and Jonathan are almost synonymous in my mind, I feel as though it’ll be a hollow shell without him.

I have no idea what NA’s obsession with celestial (the most useless version possible) dagger/dagger is but I hope it continues. Very selfish spec that can’t push far and has no effect on fights at mid whatsoever, dies to or gets pressured off point by very simple burst setups. Can maybe make a decent home bunker but that’s about it.

There are far better Ele setups that actually have an effect on the game and there are far better examples of why celestial is overtuned.
