I’m the guild leader of IONO. Our community is currently experiencing a sad time as one of our beloved members – a lady of gentle spirit and with a love of dad jokes – is currently in her final phase of a battle with the dragon cancer.

Thayla was very fond of Tyria, but perhaps nothing more so that the Skritt – with a particular fondness for Dawkurra. We would like to put up a memorial in her honour in the guild hall – and we will – but a tombstone or pillar seems inappropriate to her whimsy. Would you (the devs) be able to code something that looks like a Skritt statue (in the same vein as the world boss statues) that could be used for such a memorial?

I’m not sure how likely your suggestion is to happen, but I love the idea of a pre-set list of statues (including a Skritt) we can choose for our memorials. I wish your guildmate a peaceful end to her battle against that awful dragon.

I do like the idea of being able to have more options for setting up memorials — more than just the basic statue, grave marker, and signpost.

Some guilds (including one of mine) has gotten extremely elaborate with a section (not just a few decorations) devoted to memorializing one of our fallen comrades. Perhaps you can do something like that, for now.
