About Us
We are a new raid focused guild that completes full clears while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. We use optimal group compositions and strategies that have previously shown excellent results without compromising on DPS or mechanics.

Expectations
The ability to keep an open mind. Our raids, discord and guild chat may contain harsh language and off-colour jokes, but we strive for a mature environment. If you are easily offended or not receptive to criticism, this is not the guild for you.

Knowledge of the intricacies of raid encounters. We expect you to know the basic mechanics and strategies found in most LFG raids as we are not a training guild. However, we will teach team strategies that are guaranteed to be different from your typical LFG raid.

Discord. We communicate during raid clears and organize our raid sign ups here. It is required for all members. However, you are not required to have a mic.

Repping is highly encouraged. We want to build a community and not just an LFG, but it will not be expected/compulsory.

Active interest to better your own gameplay. We consistently look for new ways to improve our own gameplay and raid clears, whether it’s by practicing new rotations or trying out new strategies. Meta geared characters/classes will be expected.

Attendance is not mandatory. We use a signup sheet that resets weekly, if you sign up for a raid you’re expected to attend for the duration. However you will not be kicked if you choose to not sign up every week.

Minimum Requirements to join:
1 class in Support, 1 power and condi class in DPS
Or
1 class in Support and 1 condi ps
?Support (druid=magi or chrono=quickness bot/offtank)
?DPS (condi ranger, thief, ele or engi and power tempest)
?Helpful, but not required (reaper, power dh, power mes, condi mes, power dd, condi druid, condi rev, magi/minstrel rev, power ps, condi ps)

?Each class (magi druid, magi/minstrel rev excluded) must be geared in full ascended; trinkets/weapons/armor

Recruitment Process:
1. API key or gw2efficiency link with shared characters (alternatively linking gear in game)
2. Answer a list of questions related to raid mechanics and your class
3. Perform a DPS test on both a condi and power class (ranger, thief, ele or engi and tempest)

Perform a DPS test on a condi ps.

We have a fractal 50 group (sometimes two) going each day at server reset, or slightly after. It varies if we do a 30/40 that day as well.

Afkers Anonymous [AA] is a North American based, high-end PvE guild. We are looking to expand our roster with players that learning new strategies and improving their game-play consistently. Our ambition is to create a close group of friends that have fun together. While we do not consider ourselves a teaching guild, we do not shy from helping members within the guild learn the more neglected aspects of the game.

What do we do as a guild?
This ranges from Fractals & Dungeons to Silverwaste farming, the occasional spvp match and even open world bosses. We have plans to raid on a regular basis once the first wing has been released.

TS3:

We just wanted to prove that it’s possible to replace a thief in all dungeons. Stealth mechanics do not only belong to thief but to 2 other classes as well. We felt that many people are so stuck on thief being the “Be all, Stealth all” class. We decided to show that an Engi can replace a thief and the paths can still be done “as efficiently as possible”.

Thanks for a second slap in the face. Your loyal players are clearly already upset so the support is resorting to giving sarcastic comments instead of dealing with the issue at hand? That’s what my money is going towards?

I think there should be another option of payment added to people who already have a core game. It’s unfair to the loyal customers who have been here since the first preorder. I have 2 seperate accounts and I refuse to buy 2 more core games on top of the ones I own already.

What you fail to realize is that UGF is an open type guild. They have many members, lots of them just there for guild missions.
They most likely don’t even know each other that well except maybe for the core members.

I fail to see how this makes it okay. It’s nice to know, but if any guild has members like this, no matter how big, small, close-knit or not so close-knit they are… I’m personally going to be wary about grouping with people in that guild.

Sucks this happened though! Can’t expect much if you’re the none guild mate there. People will usually be less considerate of those they don’t personally know versus those they do.

I didn’t “let” my account get compromised. I’m pretty sure my e-mail was. I also played GW1 for 8 years, never once had it compromised. Still have no idea how it happened, and I don’t download random stuff on the internet either to have gotten a keylogger. A couple of steam games in the past 6 months and the Hola add-on for netflix. As for my e-mail… All I really use is social media when I enter it into websites online. Nobody just gets their account compromised on purpose (unless they’re account sharing)

As for the scammer…. Yeah, being scammed was my fault, but with dungeon path selling being as popular as it is in the EU servers…. Anet’s made an official stance on it. they should be honoring that.

I’ve been getting more and more bored of guild wars 2 lately. I was the type that if I was on the computer, I’d have the game running in the background even if I wasn’t fully paying attention to it. However, that hasn’t been the case lately. Recently started playing a couple steam games instead. Figured I just needed a break from the game. Which would of been fine, but while I was playing another game, a friend had asked me on skype if I was on my account asking to “borrow” 500g. Once I found out someone else was on my account, I immediately logged into the forums and went to disconnect his IP. He was still capable of logging in though. I changed my password immediately afterwards. Yet, still capable of logging in. I wasn’t sure what to do, until’ my friend suggested changing my e-mail password. He wasn’t capable of logging in at that point. All of my stuff was pretty much gone off my account. Armor, weapons, gold. As devastated as I was, I figured Anet would at least do an account restoration so it wouldn’t be a HUGE deal. Just more of an inconvenience at that point. Unfortunately, this is where I’m stuck at. After e-mailing them, I was told they couldn’t help me because they were ‘unable to determine that the account was accessed by an unauthorized individual". Aside from the IP that logged into my account being from Romania, and all of my gold being sent through the mail system in-game to someone I’ve NEVER had contact before with once…. What more proof does anet need?

Unfortunately, this isn’t the only time I’ve had an issue with support. When someone was posting pictures of me in-game, I reported and was told because there was no proof it was me, they couldn’t do anything to stop it from being an issue. Political correctness at its greatest. Not just this, but a couple months ago I was buying a path to finish a daily before reset kicked in, I got scammed by the seller. After reporting said seller, I was originally told Anet that I should be using the trading post system they have in place. I bought a dungeon path, I did not buy an item. Considering they have made an official stance on people who scam buyers out of dungeon paths…. That kind of response just blew me away. It’s as if they didn’t read what I had wrote.

As much as I love the casualty of this game, (being able to take a break and come back without feeling like I’ve missed too much) this takes the kicker. I’ve been a loyal customer since Guild Wars 1. Can nothing really be done about this?

As we stated before, we are reviewing your report and all the logs related. If we are able to prove that a violation occurred, we will certainly action against the parties involved.

They’re not going to say whether a person is banned or not. I already know they weren’t because I’ve seen them play frequently since the incident. I’m just a bit annoyed that when personal information is shared on a game (whether it’s a photo, an address or someone’s name), arena net is not taking it seriously. I’m not going to argue with a GM in e-mails, because I don’t see anything being resolved through that. I’d rather make it public knowledge that they won’t even give someone a warning.

I have already reported an individual for harassment through a ticket on the forums and the in-game system. Nothing has been done. Photos of me have been posted in /say as a joke. I know the said person hasn’t been banned because I’ve seen them log on everyday through my blocked list. Is harassment not taken seriously in this game? Even when it’s personal information being shared that I haven’t given permission for?

So from what I can see: Engi used Toss Elixir U on the wall of Arah and got lucky with a WOR rather than smokescreen. Abe did the same solo with Guardian and beat Lupi faster. Vuln seemed to be pretty nice but here’s what I’m wondering: if you had used tornado form via Elixir X under that wall would all the damage be amplified? It’s another RNG element but I’d be curious to see if it worked.

I got downed as my wall went up. I lost the perception stacks and wasn’t able to get off very much vuln. before lupi decided to go ape on us. The tornado form is an interesting thought. Might be fun to test…. Hope my rng is good!
