Guild Wars 2

So I was making an Asura Mesmer today, and I noticed something on one of the sets of ears.
Below the actual ears, there are these little spike looking things jutting out.
I didn’t know whether this was a glitch or something or whether they’re suppose to have those. They seem somewhat awkward and not natural.

Ah, it looks like a flappy-things at the base — not so much a spike. Well, they’re pointed like a spike, so I see where you’re coming from.

I think it’s inspired from an aspect some animal critters might have with their ears. I suppose it’s the equivalent of a human ear lobe.

I suspect it may be a bug.

Pretty sure it’s a spike. That was always my impression when I saw those on Asura NPC’s

I’m thinking that it’s just the result of lazy animation. :P

I thought they were meant to be the equivalent of the tragus in human ears. I can see why one would think they were a bug or sloppy graphics work though. They DO look awfully pointy.

Female asura have an option like that as well. I think it is just a way of making the ears look different from one another. I wouldn’t call it a bug.
