I was exploring Rata Sum, and at its lower level, came across a breakdancing Asura.

He had his Krewe behind him cheering and jumping as he performed. What caught my attention was how high they jumped.

From standing, they could jump up to their full body height. I never paid attention to how high I really jumped, but realized that I had that amazing ability too.

This is a game changer.

Gone are the days of bookahs putting things on top shelves to frustrate us.

A new day has dawned my brothers and sisters.

I’m pretty sure we’ll have jetpacks before long anyways, or just flat out defy gravity in some other way.

Teleportation, folks. That is all.

My krewe and I are field testing a prototype levitation device. It isn’t quite stable yet, so our innate jumping abilities will have to do for now.

I got it to where, on a good day, I can levitate for about 60 seconds before the Spacetime Decurvulator shorts out.

Unfortunately, the energy requirements are exponential. I could only levitate a Charr for about 4 seconds.

And I dodge jump over humans all the time, that and I work for Zhaitan so I could just…. “Hire” a norn to help me with the tall shelf’s (tho it gets very annoying when the sylvari do that -_-) .

It is but the first step in my final plan. Today a Charr snout, tomorrow the world!

Unforunately, you can’t understand the pains my short stature bring. I was shamed once before when I entered a pub at the Black Citadel.

When I went up to the bar to order a drink, a Charr asked if I could help him. When I said “sure”, he spun me around and sat on my head.

At my full height, I was the perfect barstool for him. The pub erupted in laughter, and I never lived down that day.

When my Spacetime Decurvulator is completed, I will go back to that pub and ask if a Charr can help me.

When he says yes… oh, the sitting which will ensue… oh the sitting…
