Guild Wars 2

I have created my first 2 character as Asura for lvl 42 Warrior & lvl 72 Guardian. I also trying out other race as Human Warrior until lvl 40, and Charr Thief and never pass lvl 20. But I keep going back to create Asura and made my 5 character slot full of it.

I wanted to try something new but can’t take my hands of the Asura. Is it worth to create all my character full of Asura? I hope there is something new for the race or make more interesting good looking about other race.

My opinion about all race
Asura – very cute and intelligent but super tiny in game play that is hard to show off the equipment (I think it’s only thing that draw me back from playing it, NO big deal) Other than that everything is fine.

Human – is very average race that most people play and doesn’t seem that unique

Charr – the race that I really want to get my hands on cause it’s pretty unique race that didn’t see too many people playing it and doesn’t look humanoid like other race. But on the other hands, I have encounter the same issue that people talk on the forum. I read that the movement speed SEEMS SLOW on charr (even all the race travel the same distant at same time) and that make me want to play charr thief with +25% movement speed. And again I don’t really like charr’s armor beside the heavy armor. Last, the charr seem so big at start up character selection after logged in that would make me kind of scare to see my last play race showing up that looks demon-like beast with horn that take almost half of my screen.

Norn / Sylvari – no interest to play at all

Go with Charr and go wild with the character creator. They have amazing customization when it comes to fur color and patterns that allow you to look unique.
Then select Iron Legion. If you like Asura then you will like the Iron legion because not only are they the principle legion in Ascalon but they also have an affinity for invention and innovation just like Asuras.

Ignore the “slow” feeling because its just an illusion (all races run at the same speed, have the same size hit box, etc).

I love Asura…i’ll always make Asura characters…I will never regret making an Asura character.

I tried the Charr,but i don’t like the dodge animation and you look slow…while Asura is like “whoooosh!” all the time,because the movement is the same in all the races so the Asura has to jump wich is awfully sweet xD
Also,having a 2h hammer big like your arm…having the same area of effect that a Norn has is pretty cool imo.

Who cares if your equipment will not be as big as other races’? It will still be cool and if someone doesn’t like your appearance,then it’s time to fight against that someone!

Having at least 3 Asura makes sense to me — one of each armor class (light, medium, heavy) and order, that way you get the most diversity. Save one spot for other races maybe. But there’s nothing wrong with having all Asura if you really don’t like the other races. If you make a charr thief, chose the smallest body height etc and maybe this will make him look faster. If you go all Asura, just pretend that they are part of the same krewe and that is mildly entertaining.

i have 4 80s and all are asura…cant rbing myself to play anything else

I first though that it would be a good idea to make a character from each race to see the different stories, test their racial abilities, get some variation, and so on. But after playing with Asura, I constantly keept overlooking the other non-Asura characters, so I just as well went Asura all the way

the best thing with asura is when you swin, those small legs just go CRAZY

I heartily suggest taking thief if you make a charr – they really do seem slow otherwise. Plus the thieves pistols look good in charr hands. And it’s just as funny to have the biggest race stealthing as it is to make an asura warrior
