Guild Wars 2

So far the only piece of armor I like is the Tier 3 chest piece. I need help making my elementalist look kitten. Also feel free to show off your Asura no matter the the profession (Lyssas Mirror ^.^)

Same problem as you. The only decent armor for an asura elementalist I find out is:

Chest : Cultural T3 , or Svanirs chestguard (320 Tokens of HotW)
Legs : Rogue raider or Inquest Pants (260 Tokens of CoE)

Those ones are pretty good. The rest.. meh.

I found the Priory armor looks pretty good on asura.

Headgear off
Shoulders skin not needed because of…
T3 racial chest
T2 racial legs
T1 racial shoes (pretty much the only ones that dont show the 4 extra toes asuras have)
whatever gloves.

Try that in a preview.

I’ve had the same problem for a while, but as I main an asura ele I had to find some kind of solution. So I have two sets (PvE and WvW).

- Full cultural T3. Gloves aren’t necessary as they are the least visible piece, shoulders don’t matter because the female chestpiece obscures them, and you don’t have to use the helm if you like your hair to remain un-Zojjafied.

- A mix of Priory skins and exotic Acolyte skins (like Khilbron’s Coat, etc.)

My gear is as follows:
T3 Chest
T3 Gloves
T3 Boots
AC Pants
Dye: Celestial and Royal Blue
Backpack: Zephyr Rucksack

I have the necro starting helm (The one with the bright white eyes)
No shoulders
T3 chest
T3 legs
Radiant Gloves
Dry Bones Shoes
Wind Catcher Back Piece

With Celesial dye and a hint of Winter Ice dye, it looks great, kinda like a mini “Storm”. I’ll upload a pic later

I’ve got my Asura Elementalist in full Vigil light armor with the Southsun shoulderpads and I think it looks pretty nice. I find that pants or very small robes look best on Asura since the larger robes combined with Asura’s short legs make you look like you’re wearing a big Victorian-era puffy dress, not a good look IMO. Vigil armor has a nice formfitting design that keeps that effect to a minimum and keeps you looking agile and light, perfect especially for a Dagger / Dagger Ele. Southsun Shoulders aren’t really a requirement or anything, I just like them personally, they look armored without seeming like a big bulky metal piece, which I appreciate and fits my Ele who runs full Knight’s gear. Leaving the ears and hair intact and keeping clipping of those parts to a minimum is also nice for this set.
