Hey folks, currently all five of my 80’s are Human and I really want to make an Asuran now. The only problem I have is.. I noticed that there’s a considerable distance between backpack skins and the players back. It’s one of those things that once I’ve noticed, it’s difficult to ignore.

Are there any good looking backpack skins that don’t have this issue?

So far I’ve checked Light of Dwayna and Rox’s Quiver and there’s quite a bit of distance.

EDIT: I’ve chosen the smallest height possible and the smallest build available. Are these the cause of the problem?

Normal sized asura tend to have back items and face items floating away from the skin by a distance (my monocle levitates, as do masks). I imagine a tiny asura would see this in extremes.

I just tried making the smallest height again, but this time made it a larger build, the back item seems to touch the back, but only a little.

Huge improvement from the small build though.

This doesn’t happen with the Tequatl wings. I’m the smallest possible model. I do see a gap with the Mad Memories book.

Professional character artist here — the issue you’re having is in the skeletal structure of the asura. While it may seem odd, all backpieces use a “bone” that they attach to, and that bone never changes distance from the spine bone it parents from. The meshes, however, differentiate but use the same skeleton. This is why a larger built asura will experience no “floating” while a smaller one will. Hope that helps you understand it a little bit better.
