I was previewing separate pieces of the Savant set again last night trying to plan out the order I was going to purchase the pieces. I noticed that the coat integrates the model for the pauldrons by default, even though the pauldrons have their own model when viewed separately.

Can anyone with the coat confirm that they show up when the coat is actually worn, whether or not you have the actual pauldron item equipped? It would also be nice if ANet could confirm if this is intentional.

I don’t have it (yet!), but I know someone who does have it, and they confirmed the shoulders are hidden while wearing it.

Thanks. Kind of relieving to know I can forego some of the gold costs on this set.
