Guild Wars 2

I’m thinking of remaking my warrior into a Asura but I’m worried about how the higher level weapons will look on her since I plan on making her as tiny as possible. I know that they’ll scale but will they be so tiny that I’ll lose the cool effects?

If anyone would be so kind as to post some pics, or if you know of some videos where I can see a Asura warrior in action, I would be super grateful!

No it doesn’t. Warriors don’t wear those daft leather coats and we actually use our rifle properly, not like some sort of clumsy shotgun. Warrior doesn’t just mean “uses a greatsword”.

Here are my female asura warrior and guardian. They are the smallest size possible. Look pretty good if you ask me

I wanted the tiniest possible character model for both my guardian and warrior, so made both female Asura with the smallest bodies, heads, and ears possible. They turned out great, hard to see coming in the thick of battle (especially Guardian Banish and Warrior Stomp), love my little zipping zooming pinballs of death. Pics

I totally ended up making my little Asura Warrior. Love her! Seeing her little blue-haired self spinning around in a lil whirlwind of death is adorable as hell. Best decision ever. =3

Makes Asura PC the mini instead haha

I suggest making a large Asura with default head size- the proportions look really awesome in the cultural armor. Also, you can see the animations better. Check out Hundred Blades in particular- you look like a little Yoda flipping a huge sword through the air at improbable velocities. You’ll still be tiny compared to anyone else, so nothing is lost.

I like calling my warrior a little bouncing orange ball of rage.

I run female Asura guardian and I have to say the culturals are awesome, glyphic gear looks fantastic, and the animations are all around wonderful. You don’t lose any of the effects, and from a personal standpoint I actually think that the glowiness of Asura cultural armor actually ADDS to the ambiance of the blue flashes and fire created by guardian skills. I also have to say that the T3 Asura cultural heavy armor is IMHO one of the best heavy armors in Guild Wars 2.
