I’ve been seeing Golems a lot and they seem to be very strange to me.

It’s like they are a loose collection of seperate parts held together by a magnetic field.

Which isn’t much like the Golems in GW1.

M.O.X’s fist would ratchet outwards in a power punch move, but it would remain attached, his wrist just extended out from the casing of his forearm.

To me, it just seems like the Golems aren’t very durable.

I have a couple of mental images in my head:

A Golem attempts to power punch a Norn.
The Norn pulls their arm off and throws it into the distance.
One Golem disarmed, literally.

Or you could pull off the eye crystal and effectively blind them.

you have to keep in mind that it has been 250 years from when m.o.x was around so the golems now compared to then are going to look and act different its like comparing a computer from 1980 to now.

If it was that easy the Asura would not be using golems. But since they are using them the only logical conclusion is that it doesn’t work the way you describe

It’s not magnets what holds them together. Even if they were: have you ever been to a large magnet? It’s not easy to pull two apart.

Doesn’t even have to be a large magnet, frankly.

Considering what we use electromagnetic fields for right now, much less the “arcane” equivalent in GW, the Norn’s organic muscles really have nothing on that.

Oh, you’ve definitely not seen the power of a electromagnet before. One with moderate strength would require a few people to pull apart. And I doubt it’s some form of electromagnetism seeing how they “float”. Probably some form of gravity/arcane manipulation.

That is nothing. Master Golemancer Snaff created a golem named Sandy. Said golem was made of sand and powdered arcane crystals. It was able to shape shift and float.

Clearly, the next evolution will be an Ooze Golem, named the O-1000. XD
