Does anyone know the name of a helm that hides asura ears? A simple small round helm that has no ear holes is what I’ve been looking for. I had one ages ago but mistakenly salvaged it, and I haven’t found another since. I still can’t preview helms in the trading post.

If you know of a cheap one that I can buy can you post the name please? ty ty ty

Yes I love the asura, but sometimes I just want to hide those ears!

There’s a medium helmet, the Duelist mask (Exotic) that covers the ears.

There’s probably more helms that do cover ears than ones that don’t…unless you’re medium armor. Medium armor has lots of hats and masks which leave the ears exposed.

You can view almost all of the helmets in-game by going to Heart of the Mists (the PvP zone) and going to a PvP Armor Locker.

And by helms do you mean heavy armor? Because yeah, there are quite a few heavy armor headpieces I can think of that hide the ears.

Too kitten many of them, if you ask me. I don’t think any Asura helm should hide the ears, it’s like hiding the horns on a Charr. It just plain looks wrong.

order of shadows, or wispers whatever the name is quest line vendor light armor covers the ears, like a lich king/ninja helm

I personally agree, but maybe the OP has an asura with Oggy-sized ears. :P

I didn’t mention light/medium/dark as I want all three (for different classes), but now that I think of it I should have mentioned that in my original post.

I keep trying appearances of different helms I loot on my asura guardian and so far all but one (the one I accidentally salvaged) show the ears. I like the hidden ears look, just like I would only play a charr if I could hide that annoying tail.

And I did try to make my asura’s ears small, but I prefer them hidden. I’m hoping for a future barbershop / cosmetic surgery lab where I can get my asuras’ ears removed. lol

For light armor I think Bloodclaw’s Bone Hood looks neat, and it covers ears!
Though, personally I was a touch disappointed that it covered up my asura’s cuuute floppity ears, but if you angle the camera just right it looks like she has quite the mischievous smirk under her mask (super cool).

The Order of Whispers helmet Fraeg mentioned (the light armor one) indeed covers your ears… I wonder how my Necro can squish her ears like that and be comfy >_>

That’s what I thought! What other race has ears which have an animation for when they draw their weapons, or dance? It’s a terrible waste to lock them away.

Well I think the charr are a waste of oxygen, but people like to play them for whatever reason. To each his own. :p
