I concur, i would like alot of the weird clipping issues fixed, but i assume they arent the leading priority… what about a simple quick fix, maybe make the preview appearence tab default to weapon drawn / un-holstered? just my 2c…

Agreed. Unless people start throwing gold at me with my pants off, while previewing weapons.
The coat is more of an issue than the pants in my opinion. Have you tried to preview pistols? It’s impossible!
I would suggest that the preview should show the weapon in the hand instead of in the “Off” position. The bonus would be that any animations on the weapon will also be visible.
I think that the “show/draw weapons” function should work on the preview, while previewing any weapons.
