I crafted Immobulus for my Asura Elementalist recently, and was very hesitant to equip it due to the fact that I knew it’d be hard to see. The problem is, it’s my favourite weapon skin in the game, and Asura are my favourite race. So there’s no two ways around it – my Asuran Ele was getting the Immobulus.

I spent a month or more gathering the items to craft it, it cost a small fortune. If i were to buy it out right, it would have cost twice as much. This is not an easy to acquire weapon. Yet, it feels so lack luster!

The biggest issue I have with it isn’t even the weapon scaling itself – it’s the scaling of the particle effect surrounding it. Why is it so tiny? Why? If you don’t zoom in real close and actually look at it, it just looks like pinkish confetti or dots around the scepter. I wanted to see my Moons, Stars, and Hearts! That’s what I worked so hard for!

I know there’s already topics and complaints about the Asuran weapon size scaling in game, and it has bothered me before, but now I cant just ignore it anymore.

The effect is a full quarter of her height. I don’t think in this instance, that it’s a problem of traditional weapon scaling so much as it is just a fact that asura are tiny. Compare to other races who’s effect is an even smaller percentage. Tiny asura stars are bound to look like confetti. Just like tiny star confetti will be indistinguishable from other shaped confetti from far away.

Yeah, I’ve crafted my Bifrost today and comparing it with other classes’ weapons is very small and doesnt give that satisfaction. That’s why I think Anet should increase weapon size on asura for 25%. Moreover, I take the occasion to remember that asura’s Arah shoulder are bugged and cover almost all the weapon and all the backpack. Asura class is my favourite but these things make this class not awesome as it can be.
