I just can’t play a class if it’s not Asura for some reason hahaha. The little boogers really grew to me..
I have re-made at LEAST 40 necros so far.. Asura then human the asura then charr then asura then norn ect. and it keeps coming back to Asura.. I just love them haha.
I have only one issue with them which is light armor .. Which armor combos that aren’t hard to get do you guys use? I dislike most of the Asura light armor..
Dry bones shoulders + named everything else is what I’m planning on using but I’m sure that there are some better combos..
Can anyone post some pics of their Asura in light armor + the pieces of it? And yes, I’ve already gone through the “Show off your Asura” thread. Have a great day guys, cheers!

I have full cultural t3, but it is hardly necro-y while pink. But green t3 looks nice!

Can always try Arah set, standard for many necros.

Been messing around a few weeks ago since I just got a new set of armor to put some traveler runes in and this is what I came up with… was wanting to go for something casual but I dunno if I pulled it off ahaha.

No head and shoulder skins, vigil garb, country pants and embroidered wrists and shoes.

*Note: This looks very awful on other races.

Priory looks pretty good on asura, as do some of the crafted sets (Winged, Exalted).

My asura necromancer currently has 3 armor skins she’s currently using:

Phoenix – in shades of dark green & red (Midnight Green, Envy, Spite, Wrath, & Midnight Fire)
Feathered – similar color scheme to above
Profane (with Wings of the Sunless back slot) – Dark color scheme (Midnight Fire, Midnight Ice, and Lead) – “I’m Bat-mite.”

Mates, T3 is where it’s at.
Tumikin, Necromancer, dyes are Abyss and Emerald, Jade Kris daggers and Deathwish staff

Vigil chest + vigil gloves. Makes light armour look tough.

Not the best lighting but i like my combo mix of Ogden’s and T3

This is not my character, but I love how it looks <3

Does anyone have Priory or Whispers light armor on their Asura? I am trying to decide between them for my mesmer.

Thanks, Sera. I had looked at that site and another, but their monochrome dye colors make it almost impossible for ANY armor to look good. I was wondering if anyone had done it up already with a nice dye combo. The ones on the official wiki are actually not too bad, and I am leaning toward the Priory, but Whispers also seems like an appropriate order for a mesmer…

Chest and shoulders: Flamekissed armor
Gloves: Hellfire Vambraces
Leggings: Twilight Arbor
Back: Wings of the Sunless
Boots: Can’t remember, but they’re crafted and don’t show the toes sticking out. Anyhow, you can’t really see them.

At work so can’t post pic of my elementalist (yet) but try out this:

T1 gloves, boots, and chest
T2 pants
Twisted Watchwork Shoulders if you have em (I like the 1-sided shoulder armor)
Hidden helm
