I love nearly everything about my Asura. It’s the first time I’ve actually played the small race in a game. But one thing that I’m finding disappointing is with how small they are, I play an engineer with pistols, and the pistols are so small, that it really doesn’t give me any desire to work on getting those better looking weapons. And honestly, even gear I find myself not caring because I’m already satisfied with the AC hat and outfit I have now… Leaving me nothing to strive for later really.

Maybe it’s the pistols fault but I really don’t think that’d change with any other weapon because it’s so much less noticable. Maybe greatsword or hammer but that’s about it.

I still get complements on my Mystic Wand and that thing is tiny. Though two handed weapons or shields are much more obvious for showing off good skins on an Asuran.

It’s not the size of the gun that matters, only the size of the crater it leaves.

Excellent point. Anyways OP, if you want a weapon that looks appropriate, go with glyphic. The pistols and rifles look hilariously large with other races, especially charr and norn. However in asuran hands, they look much more befitting. I had the same issue since I also run an asura engi, so the only weapons IMHO that look nice on asura are glyphic or Peacekeeper’s weapons. Everything else look like peashooters.

My one problem with the race is the lack of detail in a lot of the light armor for Asura. I’ll see other races running around in really detailed light armor, and I’ll find the vendor and preview it on myself and it just looks like rags. I don’t want “sexy” Asura armor, just something more detailed.
I’m finally almost 40 on my Asura Necro, and I almost want to re-roll to human, Norn or Sylvari just to have awesome looking gear later on.

I reached lvl 40 also. But I’m really disappointed in all the culture armor. The only armor that really reflects Asura culture is Zojja’s. Its like someone just slapped together player culture armor without thought. And spend time with making Zojja look better than any player could ever be.

How about when the a hole twice your size but you cant run though it. Cant tell you how many times that happen to me .Whats the point being small if you cant take those shortcut .You need to think like a human if it small you cant fit and if it looks to high you probably can jump over it.

Use “Glyphic” pistols.
Asuran style and large.

You can get that armor as cloth at lvl 650
