Need a name
Astrologer Nerrak?
Or perhaps Cosmologist.
Other 80s: Any but Warrior
I could use those….I will see if anyone has more input. Thank you
I like ‘Astromancer’ – it sounds like just the sort of title an asura would make up to describe herself.
As for names, a good start would be to pick a cosmological or astrological concept and then make it follow asuran naming conventions while still sounding the same.
Totally crazy and unnecessary and no self respecting grind master would care. But for us creative types… I like astromancer pretty well. If you wanted to get picky, that’s more star than space, but it’s still pretty good.
Voidmaster (Asura) , (Asura) Master of the Cosmic Realms, (Asura) the Celestial… after thinking about it. Astromancer works very well. Lots of obvious meaning there plus the concept of the strange meld of magic and science the Asurans use. Only downside is the WoW reference.
Well this is the guy who spent 2 weeks finding all the gear he wanted to transmute in wow instead of grinding the next big raid.
I don’t remember a WoW charecter with the name…..oh wait…..there were some in one of those BC dungens huh….I tottaly forgot that…oh well
Update: I decided to stick with Astromancer. Thank you all for helping me make up my mind

From GW2 Wiki:
An asura’s name usually consists of a short, sharp first name with one or two syllables. Feminine asura names typically end in -i or -a vowel sounds, and the masculine in a consonant sound. Any asura whose name does not follow these rules may risk ridicule during childhood. Both male and female Asuras typically have two of the same letter in a row somewhere in their name. Asura do not have a last name, instead opting to use job titles, a krewe name, or honorifics to differentiate themselves. Those who choose to take a last name of a style similar to humans are rare and are considered eccentrics, though their surname is often ignored by other asura
I Like to Run Randomly Around the Map
Same, sometime you find underwater caves that come out in an underground cave.
On the naming convention, I find most of the names in game are tic, so a name like Regina Lightfingers would be good for a thief, not an Asurian name by convention but not a bad name I think.

read first, post later. Go back through the OP and read carefully.
It still applies. OP wants suggestion for his Asura name, being it that he has more or less decided on the title. The wiki information helps him decide the kind of name he wants to create for the title to come after (or before).
I myself prefered Astromagus, but Astromancer sounds very neat too.
In the link by the end of the post you can see the name of all known planets outside of the solar system. I’d pick one of them and “asura” it.
For example:
OGLE-05-390L b becomes Oggle The Astromagus
CoRoT-5 b becomes Corott Astromancer
WASP-44 b becomes Waspp The Astromagus
and so on
Anything short and appealing to you. But you have the right idea with the title. recently i made a new asura. i was frustrated that most short names were taken but i titled my thief "Vivisector’ Jakk and am completly happy.
