At random times, my asura looks like it has no neck, and then after a while her head will just pop up as if it were stuck or something. Is anyone else having this problem? I don’t have a screenshot of it as it happens at random times, but it does happen frequently

I get this when i run about in places like lions arch. The head goes down into the body, as if there was no neck and when i stop, it pops up again. It has been like this for a long time, so i am surprised nobody has made a topic on it till now.

Actually, I JUST saw another thread about this exact same issue. I guess it is a bug

It’s a bug that’s been around since at least BWE3.

It gets reported frequently, as does many asura visual bugs (Dwayna gauntlets stretch, T3 asura chest hides T3 shoulders etc), but they never get addressed or even commented on by the devs.

It occurs during periods of CPU intense work, generally if the sound is glitching out so will your neck

Aye, it is definitely happening. Since it does not stick around and is only there for the fraction of a second (at least on my screen), I don’t really care too much about it.

Yes, always happens after logging in and frequently happens after teleporting, entering a new zone, or coming out of water.

Can we get a comment from a dev on this? It’s really annoying.

omg this is so freaking annoying, they actually made it worse

Yeah, it happens almost every time you tp to the new area, not much of an issues as it goes away in a few seconds, still annoying though as it doesn’t seem as if it would be hard to fix.

This really needs a fix, it happens to me all the time.

Same here, though I asked my friends with asura chars and they said they didn’t notice anything like this…

It’s a pretty well known bug.

BTW, if you’re complaining that your head isn’t on your neck at times, it’s because it isn’t. The head is a separate object from the body, and the neck is only drawn in after both are rendered. A better solution to your issue would probably be getting a decent graphics card that can keep up with the rendering better and/or a faster internet connection to keep up with the servers.

Try the support or bugs forum, too, because the Asura form isn’t for this sort of thing.

You can’t expect everyone just to get a new graphics card or better internet… most of the other races have no issues like this (you don’t see their necks disappearing do you?). It should be fixed regardless
