5/10 – nice try but it just doesn’t seem right for an rpg character and especially not for an asura.

My asura’s name is Venn Tru – Ventru is a nickname I use in many games/websites and Venn Tru is just a variation to fit better to asura naming. BTW Ventru is a variation of a major bloodline of vampires called Ventrue.

Well, it is no longer than three syllables, and it ends in a consonant, which is fitting for male Asura… as an RP name, 3/10, as a threat, 10/10.

My current Asura is a decent sized Statics Guardian with small ears called Ozwikk. He’s a little embarrassed by his small ears, so makes up for it with guts.

^ I really like it. Good sounds, very fitting, I would smile if I saw the name in-game (good RP names get me). 10/10.

My two asura (both female) are :

- Hrixxa
(Engineer, created first day or second of the headstart – for that I am surprised that I was able to come up with a name that doesn’t make me totally facepalm now (like the Sylvari names I picked early on eventually did))

- Pritta
(Elementalist, I haven’t played her enough to say much more about her, but really should !)

Both of those are excellent. My elementalist Zolka is a member in good standing of the College of Dynamics and one day she will surpass her first advisor, Mistress Zinga.

Hehe, my main is an Asura Engineer named Gear Gangsta. I’ve looked over this forum, and it seems not a good Asuran name. However, the purpose of my name is to conceal an epic WvW commander, guild leader and Grenade-chucking tPvPer in a cute Asuran body…. They say “Aww, he mispronounced Gangster”… Until it’s too late! Tell me what you guys think… :)

My kids were watching me make a new warrior Asura and I guess the small size and stubby legs and the tech theme of the Asura combined with just finishing an episode or Fenis & Pherbs (I think that is how it is spelled) led to my kids comming up with the name.

I personally love it. I use it as a battle cry when I smash into a Zerg and start kneecapping people like I was hired by Tanya Harding.

I like all of your names. I give Gizmo Urzatron, Master Aevvi, Wombatanator 8/8 and Feelmycrits 9/9. My asura is an engineer.

Well my asura’s name is Yullma, she’s a necromancer, and I’m not sure what else to say lol.

I think Braxil is deserving of a 8.5 or 9/10, I like the way it sounds, can’t really say anything bad about it, you can tell it’s an asura name though just by hearing (or reading?) it!. Anyways, it’s a great name and that’s all that matters!

8/10 for Yullma, it kind of sounds like a lore name… your character is a female right? because for a male it just sounds not right. My new Asura character is a Necromancer called Doctor Kripp. I really like lore names. On the other hand I used the total makeup kit to choose one of the new faces that is disgusting enough for this little fella. So, anybody needs a creepy doctor?

7/10 not bad it’s a good Astra name but I’m not to fond of it my self.

I made very short female mesmer yesterday and called her “Little Arii”

I would think an Asura would HATE that name and would build ridiculously elaborate gizmos to the punish whoever spoke such vile imprecations in her presence, preferably from the ‘shrink ray’ family of advances… They do seem rather touchy about their height . 8/10

8.7/10, I do like the name of you character its just that the pet name is not my particular cup of tea. I would assume that this asura would have some sort of environmental study background, so the pet name should follow that suit but thats just me being a lore freak XD Apologies

Double consonant, so that’s a +1 for any Asura name. Also short, which scores you another +1 and you have an honorific(on three out of four) so you get another +1.\

I’ve taken inspiration for her honorific from Dungeon Siege III and the folks that run the town of Stonebridge, the Meisters;
Meister Zaana
She graduated from the College of Dynamics and ran an intership at the Black Citadel learning about Iron Legion metallurgy and blacksmithing. As you’ve guessed by now, she’s an Engineer.

Zaana is a good name, double consonant, ends in an A. Pretty good for a female asura. Meister is master in German though, which is a hefty title but if it has inspiration from somewhere else and isn’t intended to mean master then its fine.

My Asura is called Vekkel, he graduated from College of Synergetics and studied under Master Blipp until he found a guild while in Lions Arch comprised of a Human Guardian, a Charr Hunter, a Norn Mesmer and a Sylvari Thief who were looking for a fifth. So he joined and became their leader with his Golemite companion called Rusty Tom.

I like the name Vekkel.

A bit too long for my tastes, but not bad.

My Asura is Practitioner Braxx. He’s a Necromancer and something of a “field medic”, traveling about Tyria for some on-site research the on the practical applications of blood magic, medically or otherwise.

Braxx, I love it! A classic, pure Asuran name. 9/10

Here’s Golemancer Gwamm (c wat i did thur c:). He’s studying in Dynamics to become an artist of war machines…and he’s a bit crooked and deranged little terrorist. He’s also glad that Scarlet died because that’s one baddie out of the competition.

Lets see, my asura guardian is named Zijju and my asura mesmer is named Temie.

10/10 to Zijju it perfectly match asuran style for short name lots of repeating letter and Z,X,K or U presence

I dont think asura name ever had a e at the end even for female save for Taimie but shes an anomaly so ill rate 9/10 (Temie)

I like the name Trixx for an Asura, and I like the idea of an Asuran archivist. Of course on its own it would be taken.
