Its nice but I admit it doesn’t scream Asura to me. 7/10

Mine are:

Pathfinder Rokk (Asuran Ranger, Dynamics, Male.)
Virr the Nightmare (Asuran Mesmer, Statics, Male.)

And potentially (I haven’t made the character but I’m considering it.)

Peacekeeper Korr (Asuran Guardian.)

“The Nightmare” makes me associate with the sylvari, but other than that I like the names. First and third are 10/10 I think, while Virr is a little less.

Mine’s called Picca the Quiet. The Quiet just seemed to belong there and I guess it gives an in game hint that I don’t talk much and prefer to solo :P She’s a thief and Picca comes from the latin name for magpie, Pica pica. (Just my luck the myth about magpies stealing stuff would be disproven just after I created my asura!)

(Guardian) Theologian Pvaeva: Really long, incomplete, back story. Pronounced “Phaeva”. I also choose the “brute” options with her.

(Mesmer) Reader Yakkt: He’s nuts in a fun way. “Reader” comes from, well, read the article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reader_%28academic_rank%29 . He’s “dignified” and “charming”.

I’m not even going to try and pronounce your guardian’s name. I like Yakkt. Has a very Asuran sound to it.

My Engi is called Tinkerer Zeena. A mad little asura girl that likes throwing gizmos at the baddies until they die. Preferably the exploding ones.

I’ve wanted to make an Asuran ele for some time but I can’t come up with a name I’m happy with. I was thinking something along the lines of Cynn or Cynnder but I’m not sure I’m happy with it. Plus there is also a Cynn in GW1 that is a human ele so that is putting me off.

Solid, I like it. Flows well.

My ranger is the baddest around. Takes candy from children, hides the remote all that nasty business. Named Mellowpuff.

Jikial – I’ve no idea… I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t want to be called “Thief” though :P
Viridian – maybe Pyrra? Or Pyrrha? (From greek for red or firey)
Neptune – sounds like a fun guy :P But not a very Asuran name I think?

Mine is Holesnipe Oldcog Lvl 30 engineer

Holesnipe Oldcog isn’t bad, but it sounds a lot more appropriate for some sort of character from another MMO, like maybe a gnome from WoW. 6/10

From the perspective of a person who prefers to keep the names of his MMO characters lore sensitive, I’d give your name a 6/10.

I made a second Asura today and she is an Engineer. Her name is Plukku.

I have several Asuras- but my most Asuran name is Kaydd

I also have Soren, Evan, and Cora but those sound like Slyvari names more than Asura names =P

8/10 Soren sounds pretty “Asura” to me! Evan and Cora on the other hand sound pretty plain lol 5/10 for effort haha.

I unfortunately was not very serious when naming my characters so my two asuras are named Chacha Chowski and Squatty McPotty.

I named my female Asura warrior Limeball. Some time ago I looked up the lore and it happened to fit. At least, for a male Asura. Oh well. If she had a personality she’d be a tomboy anyway.

I want to throw in the quirky name my boyfriend gave his male Asura mesmer too. He named him ‘Quarksly’.

Doctor Grimm, my Asura Mesmer

It feels like in case of a huge fight in WvW, a lot of your allies have fallen, the enemy seems to be winning and you almost give up, but then a Doctor Grimm appears out of nowhere and somehow manages to scare off the baddies, heal you up and lead the gang to victory.
