Currently I have a lv20 Human Guardian, but yesterday I tried a Asuan Ele and didnt like the class but loved the Asuan race. Whats everyone experience with guardian Asuans, and is it worth re-rolling?

I don’t have any Guardians, but I absolutely love my Asura warrior, he’s my highest level character at 45. Just the animations of an Asura jumping around with a greatsword like Yoda from Star Wars is fantastic!

I have an Asura guardian, and it is absolutely my favorite combo.
You are super tiny, yet you find yourself in the front line of battle or helping a downed player. The fact that you are super tiny makes the battles more epic and way more bigger from your point of view.

So i would totally role an Asura guardian.

Everything is better if combined with an Asura. It’s only natural as Asuran scientists will be happy to prove.
Besides, your character will be smarter: studies show that inteligence is in direct, reverse relation to body size, making asura the smartest of the races and norn the least intelligent.

I’m an asura guardian and I enjoy it a lot. Like the warrior said above, I feel like yoda using my greatsword. Lol

I got an asura guardian at lvl 80 and i regret picking this race. Not talking about the SoA bug. thing is at the end game you want cool looking armour. And when it comes to that, the asura just can not realy look cool, also if you farming a lot just to get awesome looking armour, no one will notice is because your so small =/.

So if a race chance becomes available i will buy it.

Pro:

• Tiny character (If you are into that)
• Animation is flipping around

Con:

• Camera pivot too low to ground, looking up is difficult
• Smaller Aoe (Not sure if intentional)
• You won’t see many of armor/weapon graphics

Their animations and antics are pretty cool,

However the detail of your Armour doesn’t comes across well on on Asura.

Not intended. Choice of race is supposed to have no gameplay effect other than what racial skills you have access to.

There are known Bug threads on these forums that state that certain AoE range skills are incorrectly reduced for Asura players. You might want to hunt for those threads if that’s a worry to you.

Having said that, I love my Asura Warrior. The unique animations are so much fun. Intead of just drop kicking an enemy away from me, I instead do a double footed jump kick to their chest and back flip away as they go flying. It’s just incredible to see and feel the difference with the unque Asura animations. Even their unique flipping jump animation for the Dodge rolls is great. Flipping dodges show me exactly when my Dodge will end, which has really helped things out.

i have a lvl 80 azura archer and i love it, the armour look is verry cool for me exept for the helmet. luckely you can earn transform stones (yes earn stones for free) by exsploiring maps ore opening chests. im not shure how the guardian armour look is btw, but mabey a good tip.

I have an Asura Guardian and I love the combination. The Asura are funny and nice to watch and to hear. It’s pretty cool to be this small but going around with a greatsword. The only issue I’ve had so far is that I have trouble seeing certain things when I’m fighting, the camera is too low and I have trouble looking up.

Only class/race combination that can poledance (staff #4!)

At first I thought an Asura Guardian was going to be anachronistic but once you get into the story you really see that the asura are quite a fiery tempered people so it fits remarkably well.

As for having a smaller aoe, meh, I actually think this should be part of the game but they should also adjust the hitbox accordingly. I don’t really get the idea of having different size races in the game if an Asura has the same hitbox and reach as a norn. I might be crazy but I enjoy a tiny bit of realism in my rediculous over the top fantasy world. I mean big is still big, and tiny is still tiny right?

I have an Asura guardian. I love it – the #4 skill on the staff has to be the coolest animation in the game.

The thing about the tiny weapons and armor is that OTHER people cant fully see all the details, you however can see all the details with ease.

and the cultural armor is in my opinion the best/most fitting especially if you play guardian, just preview the tier 2 which looks great and is still afordable
the weapons are rather small thats true but if you are looking for a great skin for the endgame, preview the tier 3 greatsword, its quite big.

so much about estethics.

I find jumping puzzles easier with the tiny character, dont know what other people prefer here.
