So far the Asura have had to share their Cultural Tier 2 weapons with the Sylvari, which mean’s that our T2 isn’t really that cultural to us.

Meanwhile we also got one weapon sets for each Asuran college and faction.
Tier 1: Glyphic which fits the college of Dynamics.
Tier 3: Peacemaker’s which fits the college of Statics.
Sorrow’s Furnace: Dark Asuran which fits the Inquest.

But nothing for the college of synergetics.

Therefore i suggest that the current Tier 2 weapons for asura are replaced with something by Asuran design with a green glow, since green is the color of the college of synergetics.

Edit: It have also come to my attention that the Sylvari have stolen our Tier 1 weapon designs.

Yep, more than a year out the door and two races still have placeholder cultural gear, while a dozen different weapon sets have been added to the game before them. ANet’s priorities…

This really needs to be addressed.

The T1 and T2 “cultural” weapons aren’t really strictly cultural. What they are more than cultural is regional. You get the weapons as drops from enemies in the regions as well as being able to buy them from vendors. Evidenced by the fact that the Charr have Flame Legion weapons, and obviously non-Flame Legion Charr wouldn’t be making those types of weapons.

So the fact that the Asura and Sylvari share T1 and T2 gear makes sense, since both races live in Maguuma.

If they actually gave different T1 and T2 gear for Asura and Sylvari, then either Maguuma as a whole would have more unique weapon sets than the other regions (instead of 1 for blue / green and 1 for yellow items, you’d have 2 for each), or you’d have to differentiate “Asuran Maguuma” and “Sylvari Maguuma” which wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense for any areas besides Metrica and Caledon (Brisban is smack in the middle of the two and Mt. Maelstrom doesn’t have strong ties to either race).
