Guild Wars 2

I’ve been debating on this combo for awhile now. Does it sound really dumb having such a short guy being a warrior? I can’t really decide.

It’s a funny combination, some of their animations look amazing (100b for example).

My asura warrior:

Think about it .. a short guy sending Norns or Charrs that are x5 times bigger than him flying away with a single stomp or smacking people around with a hammer.

Besides , the Asura 100 Blades style is way more superior than the bookahs version of 100 Blades.

I don’t think it sounds dumb at all. It is far more amusing to watch larger foes getting smacked around by a little guy! I wish I had the space for a warrior to keep my guardian company, but I am at a monetary disadvantage and far too attached to the rest of my roster to consider rerolling any of them.

I’d say give it a try and see if you like it.

Dumb? No. Lore-friendly? Probably not.
Anyway, my warrior is actually the shortest you can make an Asura XD. Animations are fun, but just do what you want, it’s your game to play

Any non asuran character is dumb, an asuran warrior is not. Next question!

In the typical asuran fashion, they’re smart in more magitechnical ways, which is what i meant by lore-friendly. Obviously, being a tactician requires brains, as Efut is.

Honestly, the only race that really has ‘lore friendly’ classes, and this is still iffy, are Sylvari. Everyone else is sentient and free-willed, and has plenty of time, even iwthin the biography, to pursue the profession of their choice. Sylvari are still sentient and free-willed, so there’s that, but they also pop out of the Pale Tree with knowledge of their profession, so that’s why it gets a teeny bit iffy maybe (With Engineer, I would think).

Incidentally, I’m also not entirely positive about the ‘plenty of time’ bit for Charr, but a Charr could be forced into a profession because of its military utility – even if it’s nonstandard for the NPCs we see. Plus, you can always roleplay a Gladium, even if you don’t get the Personal Story option for it.

Asura animations are great. Roll an asura warrior, take him to The Mists, equip a greatsword, press key for 100b…and marvel at the yoda-esque leaping that ensues. Now just swap thru weapons and enjoy the melee animations of a tiny character with norn-dagger sized weapons whooping golem booty.
