Since the update on october the 7th after wanting to create a male asura I noticed the option to choose your head size has vanished. (unless I’m not seeing it ?)

It would be awesome if it could get re-added cause I wanted to make the head smaller.

Also I was wondering if the long bunny like ears would at some point be customisable with the sliders like the female variant because at the moment they aren’t affected by them.

P.S. Not sure if this belonged in the asura or bug section.

I noticed the same thing while creating an Asuran guardian. Couldn’t find the head size slider anywhere.

Head size has also apparently been normalized on already created characters, my asura’s head got a lot bigger last night.

Awww that’s kind of a shame

I hope this wasn’t intentional and is just a bug or something, does anyone know if its just asura or everyone?

Please document these changes in release notes!

I don’t see how acknowledging this change could in any way be interpreted as falling under the category of exploit or bug. Surely character customization is a feature and a highly visible one at that.

Every other race currently has a customization option for head size.

Charr: Under “Ears and Horns”
Human/Norn: Under “Chin and Jaw”
Sylvari: Under “Customize your Head”

Is this WAI? Is the retroactive change to my existing Asura permanent? If this changes in the future, will I be given the option to reset for free or charged for the service to return my character to the original parameters I chose at creation?

This is ridiculous.

I gave all of my Asura big heads, because I thought it looked better. I’m really disappointed that they would completely remove a customization feature (when Asura have SO few compared to other races anyway) without even saying anything.

I’m going to guess that it’s an unforeseen bug, hence it not being documented in the patch notes.

If it’s not unforeseen, then it was likely causing some sort of issue that they need to track down and fix, and the team responsible did it and forgot to have it slipped into the patch notes.

Either way, until they make a statement about it, freaking out isn’t going to fix anything. Just be patient.

So this is why my characters have looked ‘off’ for the past few days.
I do not like this change.
