After some experimentation i’ve found out that there’s no way to turn off the quips and comments the characters make, aside from turning all other combat effects down as well.
It’d be nice to have the option. Seeing as the voice acting, and arrogant, pompous tone of the writing can interfere with any sort of immersion into the character if it clashes with the wishes of the player for the image of said character.
Just a suggestion, i realize this is likely to fall upon deaf ears, but it’s worth a shot.
