Biweekly updates and fully composed scores...
I heard Jeremy Soule actually stopped working for Arenanet, he’s working on pieces for another game as well as his own Orchestrated pieces too. Sooo I dont believe we’ll be hearing anything new from Jeremy.
Jeremy Soule’s contractual obligations at ArenaNet are done. He stated shortly before the game’s release on his Facebook page that he won’t be composing any more for Guild Wars 2 or any future Guild Wars games/content releases. Maclaine Diemer and Leif Chappelle are handling all music for the foreseeable future, as far as I’m aware.
Something I feel should be added: Maclaine and Leif have been putting “actual composed music”, by your definition, into the game since they took over a year ago. See Bazaar of the Four Winds, Dragon Bash, and even the Halloween update running right now for more info. Really, the only “electronic/synth” stuff they’ve been putting out are the dance holo music and SAB.

I was actually corrected by Maclaine in the video when he mentioned that Jeremy’s work is actually fully electronic and he’s just that good. Had me fooled, that’s for sure. I meant no offense to Maclaine or Leif.
Although Maclaine also said that he’d like to use a live orchestra at some point. So that is indeed exciting.
Would be cool if he can get a chorus as well. Pull off some Two Steps From Hell type epic music.
Yeah, I was surprised when I first heard that he did it all electronically. I understand that these guys (Jeremy, Leif, and Maclaine) aren’t the only ones doing this sort of thing, either— Enya performs almost all of her music this way, too.
