Guild Wars 2

So I have had this issue for the entirety of my Gw2 experience and it is quite frustrating. I finally fixed it the other day and then built a new PC and it’s back. All I did was change the audio device in game and it fixed it. But now that does not work and I have spent hours fiddling with all options. I am currently using a Logitech THX Z-5300e 5.1 speaker system in addition with a Turtle Beach x12 headset. I have accomplished a lot and got both to work perfectly without having to unplug anything ever. But now this one problem plagues me.

My old rig had an SB audigy sound card, if I installed that into my new rig I would possibly fix the issue but I am worried I will downgrade my sound quality on my new 990fxa Gigabyte board. My current settings on the speakers is 7.1 with side speakers unchecked.

Any help would be much appreciated!
