Guild Wars 2

So to put it simply, I’m looking to add some more ambient songs to my GW2 custom playlist. Please only suggest things that seem to fit the AMBIENT category as I have all my other categories settled. (Though I wouldn’t mind some suggestions for underwater now that I think of it xD)

For the sake of not encountering any suggestions I already have (and sharing with others) I’ll list here what is in my Ambient (and Underwater) playlist. Thanks for reading and any suggestions you may have! n_n

I’ll list songs from GW1 and GW2 that I use, but I have to ask first: does Ambient playlist randomize properly for you? For me it’s the only playlist that doesn’t (except MainMenu and BossBattle of course, those never randomized).

Still looking for some Ambient playlists now. I’m mainly looking for things not directly to Guild Wars 1/2 though. I like a little variety in the music I have playing, so I tend to look elsewhere for instrumental / orchestrated music.

Lovely suggestions, Final! Lovin’ the Darksiders stuff. I never had a chance to play that game, but the soundtrack is fantastic.

Still open for more suggestions, anyone! Can never have enough musical goodness.

Some more examples of other music I use comes from Dark Souls 1 and 2. Though there are very vew ambient songs in the franchise I find the boss music to be fantastic as Battle Themes.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is another game in which I use the soundtrack to bolster my playlists. While the tunes are inherently less orchestral than the previous songs I stil find they fit in the playlist well enough.

Check anything done by Kai Rosenkranz. His music for Gothic 1-3 and Risen 1 is just art and memories in one.

If you would like to get even more, check for soundtracks from Witcher 1. Not 2, because music there is highly influenced by “theme”, but tracks from the first game are extremaly atmospheric.
