Hello, for the past 2 days that I’ve been running in WvW with a large group, I keep hearing a constant noise which is very anoying. When I asked in guild, a person said that it might be from the legendary called “Howler”. Is it possible to disable the soundfiles for that item? This sound is driving me crazy and I can’t ask the person to stop using a legendary item..

nevermind, turns out its that sword that looks like an electric saw. Any way to turn it off? I’ve asked the person to stop using it but it’s not something you should be asking people..

Short of opening the .dat file and manually removing the sound file (which is somewhat complex, might get you banned for altering the client, and might just redownload when you launch the client), there’s really no way to turn the sound off on your end. Your best bet is to go with a different group if possible, or hope that Anet decides to reduce the volume or something.
