I love the kite fortunes!
Yes, they are lovely. Great idea and like all well done fortunes are just vague enough to often seem ever so appropriate to what happens after reading one.
These are also a great compromise to ticket skins being based on luck with the RNG, if you get enough fortunes you will eventually build up enough scraps to trade in. I hope similar mechanics are employed in the future for other skins based on a ticket.
I would love to see this concept ‘recycled’ later on as fortune cookies for chefs. A short random buff and a similar fortune being heard. It could even be a recipe learned via an npc as part of a living story. Learning a recipe as a reward from a small instance/adventure that felt personal would be a lot of fun and that concept could apply to other crafts as well.
Successful opportunism is often indistinguishable from a masterful plan.
