Could the tunes be changed to something a little more upbeat and epic? Lion’s Arch music is very depressing and sets the kind of mood where you feel like nothing’s happening. This in turn makes players feel like doing nothing.

The music is suppose to set the mood you want to bring to your audience.

If I’m in a town filled with activities where people are partying and having fun; you certainly don’t want the current tune. If Lion’s Arch is suppose to be a lounge where people lie down and watch the grass grow then you can ignore this post.

Go to Divinity’s Reach then go to Lion’s Arch. Compare the tunes on both sides.

When I go to Lion’s Arch I feel like jumping off a bridge. The music sounds so depressing it’s almost suicidal.

Go to the character select screen, that should cheer you up.

I think this is a better track for Lion’s Arch tbh.

I don’t understand how people can say that this song is beautiful. It sets a mood of sorrow and despair. What ever, what do I know? I’ll stay in Divinity’s Reach to keep my sanity.

I have custom “city music” and lion arch is not considered as a city… :/

This one sets a nice upbeat city mood.

Funny guy :P but seriously why is LA not considered a city for custom playlist? I know the halloween and holiday events had a custom tune in LA

I like the current music throughout GW2, including the LA music. I really like the clarinet piece, it sounds authentic, but it may be a synthesizer. People’s taste in music differs and if for some reason people cannot add custom music for LA I would support adding that option.

Not much happening in LA besides players AFKing on the balcony overlooking the Mystic Forge. Only time I go there is for some crafting and the bank and TP. All the cool kids know DR is the hang out spot.

I love Lion’s Arch !

Best “city” map ever in any mmo type game. The default music is a bet drab for such a grand zone.

I did some research was able to create my own playlists for the game. Lion’s Arch is no longer a depressing environment.

I loved the custom music option. Unfortunately it increased my loading times by 100% so I had to get rid of it. In both cases however the LA music is the same as the regular Ambient music unlike the City music in DR.

Thinking about where the original incarnation of Lion’s Arch is in GW2 is indeed pretty depressing.
