Whoever did the voice acting for the male sylvari – you did an absolutely awesome job!

I’m a female in real life, but tried out a male sylvari during the beta and was totally hooked when I heard my character talking for the first time, during the introduction video.
I eventually made a female sylvari character too, but I think the guy’s voice acting catches/represents the spirit of the race so much better (at least how I see it). All that quiet mystery and wonder, gentleness, dreamy innocence.. there’s so much feeling in it.
The female voice seems a lot less emotional to me, while my male sylvari actually makes me think “nooo!” when he drops down and sighs that he might not make it. Part of why I love playing that character definitely is the great voice acting, and the way it makes me connect to the game world.

In short: Mister Sylvari Voice Actor, I absolutely adore your work.

Not gonna lie, I have a super huge mancrush on the male VO for the male Sylvari.

I find it weird…. not too sylvari-ish.

I seriously love the voice so far … it has emotion and gentleness and he seems to care (intro was a bit neutral though)

The female sylvari voice is pretty awesome too though ! It’s more playful and seems more spontanous which works too ! Her surprised emote is the best thing ever ! That uncontrolled scream is awesome.

I have to agree so much. When I first started, I was seriously
WORRIED I’d have to suffer some kind of American accent; which
would totally ruin how much I’d like my character. But this, this is
lovely. Captures what I wanted my character to be.

I’m a male playing a Male Sylvari, and whilst i’m not necessarily turned on by the voice the way you are….I hands down love the fierceness of the mSylvari’s voice when they gain certain buffs, for example Fury, or Might….

While I like the way Sylvari sound, I really hate Trehearne…
I find him boring and… Wooden. Give how importand a character is and how meeting him in Personal Story is unavoidable I wish that they had done a better job with him.
As he is now, he doesn’t convince me.
