What I need is a updated tutorial on customized playlist on youtube.

Every tutorial on there is way outdated. The tutorials over at youtube were made before GW2 even launched.

it’s pretty easy to do.

1. find the Music folder in Users\[Your Name]\Documents\Guild Wars 2 if it doesn’t exist, create one.
2. create a playlist in your media player of choice.
3. save the playlist somewhere you can find it (like your desktop), using one of these names (depending on what you want)
Ambient – Default playlist when no other criteria are met
Battle – “Large” fights involving many foes (~5 or more enemies); some personal story steps; PvP
BossBattle – World bosses and some Dungeon bosses; some personal story steps; some Activities
City - When inside one of the main cities, such as The Black Citadel, but not always
Defeated – Upon being Defeated
MainMenu – At the character select screen
NightTime – When in some explorable areas and it is nighttime (the moon is out)
Underwater – Any time the breathing apparatus is equipped. Overrides most other playlists
4. move your playlist to the Music folder in Users\[Your Name]\Documents\Guild Wars 2.
5. open the game and enjoy your new music.
