During the Grenth Statue mission in the curse shore, when I died I heard a different type of song play. It sounded sad, and I know that it wasn’t apart of the cursed shore music, because when I was in a fight it was playing the normal fight music.

I got that while defending a keep from an assault in World vs World. We were defending for about 3 hours outnumbered and at last, as I was the last to fall in the lord room, I thought that was the reason. I’ve got to say that was the most epic defense in whole WvW experience so far.
I wonder in what conditions that music is triggered to play.

As far as I’m aware, it’s ‘event failed’ music that only triggers with certain events. I’ve heard it after failing at Grenth, too. I know they added in the patch notes that they added more music to Orr, so I assume that’s it.

They’ve also added a kind of subtle jingling when you successfully get gold in an event, I think.
