I’ve been wondering, have new lines been added to the game? I didn’t used to hear specific audio for when I was attempting to revive myself when downed, but now often hear characters asking for help while downed.

Similarly, it sounds like there’s even audio for when you’re the one reviving someone else. I could have sworn I heard my Norn say something like “Hey, you, on your feet.”

This seemed to have started around the Aetherblade patch?

Maybe I’m just crazy.

The one asking for help when you’re downed has been in since release, I think. I seem to remember hearing it very rarely back then. They may have just increased the frequency for which they play.

There’s a rare one for when they pick up rocks off of the floor, too (and possibly other things.

I’ve never heard any of my human characters say a line when reviving someone, though.

I think I started hearing my Charr say something when I use the Thieves Guild elite, don’t remember what exactly…

We adjusted the frequency of when certain PC lines trigger in a previous release.

And it was a shame. I guess it was needed for certain lines that kept getting spammed, but now some of the rarer ones almost never trigger.

Also, Warriors keep spamming “For Great Justice” and “Shake It Off” while Guardian shouts are inaudible to all but the Guardian.

Glad someone thought to bring this up because I’ve been noticing the change as well. Particularly in dungeons my norn will constantly say things like ‘See that? I did that!’

I really quite like it, though I can’t quite pin point what’s triggering it.

Both of those 2 likely play when you use a combo finisher on a combo field.

I actually miss how often Mesmers say their mantra lines. It seems too low to me now.

I quite liked charging it up and hearing, “Obfuscate. Disorient. Confuse!!’” Takes a lot of charges for me to hear them now.

Yeah, I miss the Mantra phrases too. :/ I mean, if Warriors can shout “For Great Justice!” 24/7, why can’t we do the same?
