No difference between high and low quality?

I do but I’m simply using the motherboard audio, Realtek.

I do hear a slight difference between the highest and lowest sound quality setting. The lowest still sounds fine if you didn’t know it was at low. But it sounds a bit clearer when set to highest.
The mixing buffer size difference you can tell very easily. It adds a delay between what you see on screen and the sound effect you hear. With the buffer set to the highest, there is maybe 100-200ms delay on sounds. I find it annoying so I just keep it at the lowest buffer size.
