I bought the OST via the GW2 merch shop back in June, I never received it

I’ve sent Directsong loads of emails, I’ve got a Support Number with them, which appears to be less than useless as they just don’t answer any of my mails

How can this be an ‘official’ purchase?? Why is this in the GW2 merch shop if it’s just a ripoff?? Anyone else have problems paying for this and then not receiving it or is it just me? Is it because I’m in the UK? If they don’t dispatch to the UK they should just say so, instead of just taking my money and not sending the CDs. How is this allowed?

:(

Any suggestions appreciated. It’s too late to get my money back through Paypal payment protection now.

Last time I buy any GW2 merch. I never thought buying stuff officially through the shop would be a scam.

The OST isn’t handled through any merch shop run by ANet, nor NCSoft. It’s handled exclusively by DirectSong, Jeremy Soule’s company, and DirectSong is renowned for its slow turnaround and customer service issues, as you’re discovering first-hand.

Hmm well it’s in the GW2 shop. Click on the shop tab at the top of the page, and there it is. They really shouldn’t continue to list it for people to keep blindly clicking on if everyone is aware that it’s actually a scam. As long as it’s there, it’s their responsibility, if only in part. If they don’t want any part of it they can just remove the listing. Obviously they’re quite happy for people to keep on clicking the listing and being robbed of $39.99.

Thanks for answering and everything but… my money was taken 5 months ago and I’ve had no sensible response to my repeated requests to be sent the item I ordered – that’s not slow turnaround. In the UK that’s illegal. Maybe it’s perfectly OK in the US but somehow I doubt it.
