I like listening to characters’ dialogue in quests and during combat. A few very good examples are guardians’ “stand your ground” or “replenishing’” of humans. They all add to the atmosphere.
as such, I never play GW2 with the dialogue volume turned off.
BUT a very big exception to this is the Announcer in PvP. His voice is dry, primitive, and annoying. I was scared to discover that the Announcer’s volume is bond to that of dialogue, which means that i have to suffer his insufferable voice. Unless i sacrifice all the other combat banters just for the Announcer
The one, easy and best solution to this, is to take the PvP Announcer volume out of the Dialogue sector and make it on its own. That way, we players may choose whether to listen to it without needing to sacrifice the opportunity to listen to all the other amazingly-done dialogues.
Just my two cents
Personally I like Big Nose Ted’s sexy voice, and you should be ashamed for mocking him. May the Mursaat smite you!
