I think it would be great to have further control over where certain themes play. For instance have a play list for each of the major regions such as shiverpeak mountains, kryta etc.

Additionally I love the original soundtrack as well so why not give us the option to leave the original music in as well.

I would like to second this. I have music which would only be appropriate in Orr and not appropriate in Queensdale.

So far I’m satisfied with the playlist for just cities, ambien, etc. Of course, more customization would be better.

Adding more places would be great too! Like playlist for caves or dungeons, WvW or PvP, specific minigames like the barrel tossing game in the Norn starting area.

Also, I’ve been having trouble with the randomness of the songs. Supposedly, after the first song, the playlist starts to randomize. I heard that from Milennin in this website:

Even if I put a muted file as the first song in the playlist, I still hear the songs going in sequence sometimes. Hopefully that gets adjusted.

I love this feature though!! It feels great to personalize the music in the game. Honestly, I keep the original soundtrack from Jeremy soul in my playlist and I just add songs from his other works like Oblivion and maybe a few Final Fantasy orchestral songs to keep the role playing in the music.

i would like the further customisation, as in being able to choose what music you want to play in each city, regions out of cities, etc for day time and night time. also please fix the random play, it dont work too good, also battle playlists only ever play’s the first track, even after adding in a muted track its place in sequence and never random

Yes please, I want to be able to add Jeremy Soule’s music from his other games WITHOUT replacing the beautiful soundtrack he made for this game. Like others have mentioned, having more control over what would play in which area would be nice as well. I understand you have more pressing issues such as fixing bugs right now but please consider this, it’s amazing how little features like these can go a long way in making the game a lot more enjoyable for so many people
