Is anyone getting a severe audio stutter for everything? My audio cuts out every two seconds for two seconds. On a fresh boot, I can get something like five second intervals before it cuts out.

For what it’s worth, my mobo is an Asus M4A77TD. And yes, I have updated the drivers, and it didn’t make any difference.

Thats over £300 worth of sound system and right now my game sounds like its under water then echos or breaks up with crazy stutter. I have just had to put all sound on minimum in game because of it. Even on low it will suddenly scream at me, either npc voice or enviromental audio. And before you ask , no its not my system, works fine in any other game or music i play.

Starting two days ago (with the latest patch, hmmmmmm) I get these audio glitches where my sound goes out entirely for the majority of my playtime. When, or if, it comes back, it’s in brief stutters, just long enough to be a burst of static or to hear “…six FEET TALL!” And then silence. Reloading the game – not simply logging out – didn’t fix it, nor did rebooting my computer. Yesterday, my sound was fine the whole time I was playing, but today it’s back and even worse. I can go a solid minute sometimes with no sound at all.

And lest anyone think it’s my computer, my solution thus far has been to cover up all game sound by listening to music on iTunes. It plays just fine, thankfully.
