Guild Wars 2

So I logged in recently for the first time in ~5 months. Lion’s Arch is destroyed and the music is different. It’s incredibly sad to see this, having played Guild Wars 1 & 2 since release and the sadness intensifies once I start listening more to the music.

At 28 seconds in on this song, a familiar song from Guild Wars plays.. but I can’t seem to find it on Youtube and it’s really bothering me. Does anyone know what song from GW1 starts playing at 28 seconds in?

You can hear Sands of Kryta in GW2 as well, if you log out near the Ruins of Old Lion’s Arch and then log back in.

I believe the music is supposed to play when you approach that area, but it doesn’t currently work that way. It will only play if you load your character in that area, whether from logging in after logging out there or from exiting a PvP/WvW zone and returning to where you entered it from.
