Hello everybody, recently I’ve encountered a problem in GW2 where the sound effects will only play out of the right ear of my headset. I’ve noticed that a lot of people with Logitech headsets have also had this problem, and I have found a solution that worked for me, and it is quite simple.
Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>Right click on your headset and select properties
Now go to the last tab labeled advanced, and uncheck both options in the “exclusive mode” box.
For some reason, this enables the headset’s stereo sound to work properly, and all sound begins to play from both ears again.
This worked for me, and I hope it works for everyone else still having this issue as well.
