When there is talking thats not in cut scenes i have issues hearing it. I have a 5.1 system and unless i actually move the char to face away from the person talking i cannot hear them. Now my first thought is i got it wrong in the setup of speakers but i have been playing this syatem unchanged for 3 years and never had this issue. I even got the manual out to check setup and it all is correct.

Anyone have any ideas please on what this can be please

I have this same issue. I also can’t hear our own character say anything when it buffs itself.

I found that the dialog issue was due to my Realtek audio driver setup.
I had one of the cables plugging in to back of the computer set as mic in. I changed that to center/subwoofer and now I can hear the characters if they are in front of me.

Zorada… check out your setup. I have the 5.1 system as well (from Logitec)

Yeah i checked it and your right i have the same setup as you, funny thing is the colour code works that it should be in that socket oh well it works at least thanks mate

I’m using onboard Realtek audio as well, (7.1 CH HD Audio – ALC898 Audio Codec) and found that swapping the center / subwoofer has worked for me.

Go to the Realtek HD Audio Manager and make sure that you have the proper setting listed on the “Speaker Configuration” menu, there will be a check box toward the bottom (in the center) that is the option for “Swap Center / Subwoofer Output” – try checking that box.

(The Realtek HD Audio Manager will be an orange speaker icon, located on your task bar – near the time)

I am having a problem of my audio the voice of my character is gone but i can still hear other characters voices and other sounds as well.I
really cant hear it.i hope you guys can fix my problem coz i really want hearing voices on my character
