Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this very minor audio change since yesterday’s update. And to describe it, I’ll need to reference another game.

Several times in the general PvE environment I’ve caught a brief, faint noise that reminds me of the final boss battle in Portal 2. If you’ve played that you will also recognize it…it’s the “windup” of Wheatley launching bombs at you as you fight to defeat him. I don’t know how else to describe it, except as an electronic “zap” noise.

Since the patch yesterday I’ve noticed it in Fields of Ruin, Snowden Drifts, Cursed Shore, Gendarren Fields…just about anywhere out in the gameworld. Each time it’s so faint as to be barely noticeable, and doesn’t seem to be connected to anything happening around my character.

It just caught my attention, so I wondered if anyone else has noticed.
