So, who are the voice actors? The IMDB page for Guild Wars 2 is pretty comprehensive, but it doesn’t include these VAs.

Need to find out whether the Toxx/Ellen McLain rumor is true, and need to figure out who’s behind Tixx’s voice. Every time he speaks it drives me insane because I swear I’ve heard that voice before, but I can’t put my finger on it.

Hmm doesn’t sound like a 100% match, but… it does sound really close.

i thought tixx sounded like Wallace Shawn – i am sure he has done many voice overs, i only recognize his face from The Princess Bride (as the poisoned cup trick guy), and maybe as the Dinosaur (Rex) in Toy Story?

I’ve been trying to find out too. When I heard Toxx speak, I completely froze wand was like Omg guys!!!! if we don;’t have a companion cube we will never win this. The other members of me team were like… what are you talking about? O_o and I was like.. oh… just me then :c

But ti doesn’t say on Ellen McLain’s wikipedia page that she did it, so maybe it’s just someone who sounds similar. Or rather, it could be any old voice, that they’ve made to sound like GLaDOS.

Just out of curiosity, how did you find out that it was him? I’m much better at recognizing voices than faces. Mostly I just remember him from his small part on Caprica.

did anyone happen to get recordings of Tixx’s comments? I’ve been hunting youtube videos, but most of those have commentary going, and you can’t hear what he’s saying.
