ArenaNet, I would appreciate greatly if you would tell us if there is a way or will be a way to use a custom playlist soundtrack that can intermingle with the GW2 music all the time, and not just at select cut scenes, etc…?
That would be great, I had to add the tracks in from the soundtrack as part of the playlists

Totally agree with the OP.
IMHO it would be perfect if the customized playlist has the following functions:
1. Mix our custom music with the original game music as the OP mentioned
2. Make them play in random order
3. Normalize volume
4. Little crossfade between tracks
1 and 2 would be essential and 3 and 4 would be a bonus.
(Some people mentioned different playlists at different zones. But I would be happy with the 4 functions above. lol)
