There are two kids around the bank, one says something like ‘but, do you ever wonder why our parents used to fight?’ and gets the reply ‘I don’t really care’. This has become one of my pet irritations in the game as it seems to repeat every few seconds.
I wonder if there can be other options, I’m sure plenty of people would be willing to voice random discussion quotes and sign a royalty waver. Downloading them over time would save on excessive bandwidth requirements.
My sylvari shouting “I need cover.” every now and then when he gets hit by vulnerabilty. It’s pretty sarcastic when he gets like 2 stacks or so, but it’s super annoying because of the high pitch of the sound (it’s also louder than the other lines).
Also “Uhhh, that had to hurt.” on big hits and “Eat my dust.” with human male, love those.
“I can outrun a centaur!” Please. Kill it. On the opposite side my fem asura guardian speaks her best lines so rarely it hurts me…
Everything about Kormir makes me shudder. I just really don’t like her, yet Kormir’s Priestess sounds like Courtenay Taylor (?) so I can’t help but tolerate it. xD

We have jokes about all those NPCs but really, the “Take heed” woman was the worst because all the others are on timers and she speaks every time someone comes within 10 miles of her. Spend 60 seconds on the mercantile platform, hear that line 12 times XD

Back in GW1 hearing the Norn at the Rez Shrines asking, “Are you hunting something” and I always used find myself answering (admittedly to myself, lol), “Yes, Norn!”
I did this as well. I hated Norn VOs so much in GW 1, I could not bring myself to play one in this game. I deleted two Norn already as soon as I made them.

I think my favourite dialogue is between the Sylvari and Asura by the LA gate in The Grove.
Sylvari: Your golem is strange… was strange.
Asura: You drove it away, you know that!? I’ve never seen a golem run that fast.
Sylvari: I just wanted to ask it a few questions.
Asura: Yeah I know. you guys are full of them.
Sylvari: Oh, yes. What’s it like to be a golem? Does it dream? Does it have a family?
Asura: That was the last straw, you know. After that question about turtles in the desert you asked it about its mother.
Sylvari: So?
Asura: It doesn’t have a mother. It’s a golem. you crossed its circuits. I don’t know how you did it, but you weirded out MY golem.
Sylvari: So, you are the mother? Or the father?
Asura: What? Well, I… I guess I .. Oh no. you’re not getting in my head. You just stand there and help me monitor the gate.
Asura (to himself): Am I the mother? Blazing braces, this is what I get for working with the tree children.

I run dungeons with a guild warrior and I’m always hearing interesting, mis-matched lines that interrupt each other… I think he does it on purpose by now.

If you spam the shouts the second one will interrupt the first. You still get the buff or condi removal though.
Since I’ve started playing more WvW and a little spvp, I have spent more time going back into LA via the gate from the Mists. The conversation between two NPCs by the WvW Asura gates drives me mad – the one with ’that’s evil’s work’ and ‘step through the portal and you’ll see.’

That Consortium Sylvari at the Pearl Islet in South Sun Cove needs to shut up.

Playing an asura warrior I would hear “I feel 6 feet tall” so often that people would be repeating it on vent every time it happened…. Well now I play a Charr guardian lol.
