Where can I still get the GW2 Soundtrack
I just checked, and yeah, the GW2 soundtrack isn’t on DirectSong anymore. That site was the sole distributor of the GW2 soundtrack.
Guess that makes my copy a rarity. I should look into preserving it.
Also, check out Hardcore Adventure Box: World 1, World 2, Lost Sessions

I second this question….
Funny that the soundtracks for the first game are still there :/
Don’t deal with DirectSong.com. They’re thieves. There’s a thread on the next page all about them and how people never got their CD’s let alone a refund.
I put my order in on December of 2012 and now it’s February 2014 and nothing to show for it.
They’ve only replied to one of my support tickets I sent back in May 2013. I’m still trying to get something out of this as they have $37.99 of my money and I have nothing.
I hate to say it but I’d get the album through means of wink wink nudge nudge as Jeremy Soule doesn’t deserve your support.

I love Jeremy Soule’s orchestral work… I really do… But it sounds like he needs to get his company under control and hire more support staff and ramp up production. I was reading somewhere else online that some people wait over a year to receive their music. That’s absolutely insane. It would probably be irrelevant in most cases by then.
Good luck in getting a refund! I think I’ll just stick to listening to the soundtrack through YouTube playlists.
Wish I read this before I ordered the GW1 soundtracks from them :/
Agreed Its too bad this beautiful soundtrack is not available anymore on cd. Would buy it instantly :-) As a collector i still keep failthful to physical copies.

DirectSong are thiefs i bought my soundtrack dec.22.12 and still don’t have it and when i asked for refund i get no response from them :C
Bumping this thread because I’d seriously like to know myself.
I personally don’t mind if it’s just a digital download. But I really, really want the soundtrack. The music is beautiful, and removing it from circulation completely is practically criminal.
Youtube? -Youtube mp3 convertor
I mean if its not available. And anyway before if you bought collectors edition on MMO you had soundtrack included, because you buy the whole game with sound included. If i remember in GW2 you had some soundcloud 50% off for 5 songs.
If you think its stealing, buy something for gem story to get them money back
See, i’d be happy with those alternatives normally. But for something like this, it just doesn’t sit right with me. As well, that’s a lot of effort to get the music. (Youtube converter, download each song, convert it, organize it, etc.)
Logically speaking, i can’t see the business sense in removing it from the market. As a collectible hardcopy? Sure! That’s a collector’s item; that should be a rarity. But charge 20-30 bucks for it on itunes for a digital download – frak, i’d be tripping over myself to throw my money at it. And that’s just me, and i’m not a hard-core music lover. I know people that don’t even know what guild wars is who would pay good money for music like this.

I’ve been looking for an answer to this as well! I want all the songs on itunes not just Fear Not This Night (which mind you I have already bought!) and I dont like the idea of having to use a youtube to mp3 converter since thats a very grey area (some people say if its for personal use its not illegal while others say hell no it is illegal!) and I’d rather support the game further by buying the soundtrack in its entirety digitally then resorting to shadier methods to obtain this soundtrack. Please ANet, GIVE US THIS SOUNDTRACK ON ITUNES!!!
Proud player of Crusader, Arcanist,
Beastmaster, Shadowraider, and Shieldbearer Zakk!
Bumping this again; don’t want it getting stale. Zakk has some snazzy points, especially the questionable legality of streaming or using converters. That’s not something that should need to be done, just to get some beautiful music.
I ordered both the Skyrim 4-disk and GW2 4-disk soundtracks when they released (both signed by Jeremy Soule too) and I got them within a week or 2 of ordering. Disappointed to hear this kinda crap is going on where people aren’t getting their music.

You can try looking on ebay if you want to purchase it.
The soundtrack is also free on the web… if you know where to look.

Have you tried ebay? I have. I have never seen it up – because no one wants to part with their fancy collector’s edition box set. Which i can completely understand! But all i want is the music.
PS. It’s not on amazon, or craigslist, or anything else i can find, either.
Also, bump.
It’s been a bit, but bumping this again. I’ve still yet to find any way to get the soundtrack without going into areas of grey legality.
I’ve been trying to find the GW2 OST for some time now, but no luck…
