a Worry of mine...
Jeremy Soule said on his official facebook page that he is done with the guild wars series, I’m worried about how a good replacement will be found
Did he say why he’s done with GW?

Well, that’s certainly a shame. A little strange too, considering how it seems he has ruled out working for Arena Net in the future altogether. That does raise a few questions.
We are also working with a new composer named Stan LePard. He’s written another new Halloween ambient piece, which you’ll hear in one of the maps. However, since it’s his music, I didn’t feel comfortable posting it. I will say, though, that it’s awesome.

Maybe Thomas Bergersen of Two Steps from Hell is available? You can’t beat him for epic soundtracks.
I’m a little anxious about this development.
I hope the composer of future GW2 music, whoever it is, keeps the classic Guild Wars motifs… Specifically, that Prophecies opening theme. I heard it on the bells in Lion’s Arch during Halloween, and it made me very happy. I hear it sprinkled throughout the game, in fact, and I like it that way. I’ve played pretty steadily since September ’05, and every time I hear that phrase, it takes me back to those days of exploration in Ascalon, back when I was still new enough to the game to feel lost in the world.
I’ll be interested in hearing how this turns out (no pun intended).
